ABOUT US
Catalyst for Kidney Care Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) through education, awareness, and community engagement. Founded by a CKD survivor, our mission is rooted in lived experience and a deep commitment to making sure others don’t have to face the disease alone—or at all.
We believe that early education and accessible health information are powerful tools in the fight against CKD. Through workshops, community events, and outreach efforts, we equip individuals with the knowledge they need to take control of their kidney health and make informed decisions. We also provide support to those already affected by CKD, including patients, caregivers, and transplant recipients.
PROJECTS WE ARE FOCUSING ON
Educational Workshops & Luncheons
We host community events like “Advocate For Your” lunches to discuss kidney health topics (such as hypertension, diabetes, and autoimmune conditions) alongside medical professionals.
Wellness Walks & 5K Runs
We organize events like “Let’s Keep It Moving!” and National Kidney Foundation’s Kidney Walk to support kidney health awareness and fundraising.
We empower individuals living with kidney disease to become advocates—sharing stories, fostering peer connections, and supporting each other through the transplant journey.
